Hairistry is the practice of hair handling and curation as a form of spiritual healing.
Hairist’s believe hair to be a fundamental source of emotional and spiritual strength, and that each hair fibre is sacred.. carrying with it a story, a smell, an energy.

When touching, grooming and treating hair we are able to process trauma, manage grief and form deeper and more meaningful connections with ourselves and others around us.

Hairist’s embellish their habitats and adorn their intimate spaces with hair displays and arrangements, which are continuously added to throughout their life.

It’s understood in the hairist community that different hair styles, textures and arrangements can bring different energies into our spaces and our lives
